Whistleblowing & Speak-Up Statement

An open culture

TP Care at Homes Ltd is committed to the highest standards of openness, honesty and accountability. We want every member of staff, client and family member to feel able to speak up about any concern — about care quality, safety or conduct — without fear of it affecting them negatively.

How to raise a concern

Concerns can be raised directly with the Registered Manager at any time, in person, by phone or in writing. We aim to listen, respond promptly, and keep the person raising the concern informed of what happens next, so far as confidentiality allows.

No detriment for speaking up

No member of staff will be treated unfairly for raising a genuine concern in good faith, even if it later turns out to be mistaken. We recognise this assurance matters to whether people feel safe speaking up in the first place.

External routes

If you would prefer to raise a concern outside of TP Care, you can contact the Care Quality Commission on 03000 616161, or Protect, the UK's independent whistleblowing charity, at protect-advice.org.uk.
